Welcome to Spyglass Hill Alpacas! We are located in the very corner of Northeast Illinois. Our farm is situated between Chicago and Milwaukee...about 45 minutes to either, in beautiful Newport Township, Lake County.

We learned of the incredible quality of fleece the Peruvian Alpaca produced but it was also apparent that Chilean Alpacas produced the richest colors available. Our objective then was to combine the two. This is what guided us with our initial purchases and will be the focus of our breeding program and subsequent sales.

We are proud to have as herdsires, RCA King George, a grandson of the world’s most valuable herdsire, Accoyo PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, and Wooded Hills Winston, a beautiful silver gray, both of whom have been ribbon winners in conformation and fleece.
